WHO ARE WE?
The Moose Jaw Band and Choral Festival has been adapting to the needs of prairie music education since 1950. Each May the city of Moose Jaw hosts over 4000 music students from over 100 performing groups from across the Canadian prairies.
This festival provides a quality festival experience with an hour long performance / clinic opportunity with well renowned clinicians in 3 disciplines. We are one of the very few Canadian festivals providing an educational experience for your entire music program. Bring your concert band, jazz band, and choir. If you have a string program we will bring in quality string clinicians as well.
We invite all groups to participate in “Moosic in the Park” , either as a performing group or as a member of the audience for no charge, thanks to our sponsor, “Visit Moose Jaw”.
Evening concerts, by quality groups, entertain and educate students and adults alike, for a nominal, additional fee.
If this isn’t enough, we then have Moose Jaw businesses stepping up with a number of activities, both educational and entertaining, to keep your students busy.
Consider including Moose Jaw in your yearly plans.

Big thanks to the performers who participated in the park! We arranged for the rain to avoid your performance. Thank you very much.
We must also thank those who came to the park to enjoy the music from other groups. Let’s plan to do this again next year. Same time, same place.
