Even without the Kinsmen Club, the festival continued. In 1995. for the first time since 1950, there was no parade. In its place, bands set up on Main St intersections and the audience travelled from one corner to the next still enjoying the wonderful music.. The festival was still held Thursday to Saturday on the Victoria Day weekend, and it was still a contest, awarding marks and places.
